The wounds of our life, those injustices, psychic blows and scars, with their attendant pain, anger, fear and shame can be the riches of our life as well.

Angel's Perspective

At the bedrock of Angel’s approach to healing is a respect for everyone’s spiritual belief systems.

However, even with our most basic understanding of spirituality—no matter what belief structure is being applied to it—we must ultimately accept that we are guided by the core principles of a “higher good”.

Without this fundamental kernel of faith, human life would have little inherent value.

If we at least trust that we have a soul, then we are capable of recognizing some version of a divine source of power, be it named “God”, the “All”, or simply “The Universe”.

Believing in this higher energy—“God”, if you will—means that we have pragmatic access to it. We are capable of healing and being healed. We are open to an infinite healing power that really defies all definition, except for the simplest of all: Love.

Love heals with simplicity, offering limitless truth and freedom. Above all, Love always bears the promise—no matter how destructive or despairing our lives may have been—of a new beginning.

All healing must be connected to, and motivated by, that source—God, the All, the Universe, Love. And when the end comes, we will discover it was just that simple, after all.
